Well ... well.. well... talk about a most pleasant surprise for a Saturday!
Mom, Dad and I were driving from the ranch back to Spokane so we could all have lunch together with my older sister and her family to celebrate the "already-blogged-about-future-national-holiday" ... maybe it does deserve an entire weekend!
I was reading Tina Fey's autobiography (HYSTERICAL) .. and finally put it down to ward off any risk of getting car sick or enhancing my headache from the previous night's activities (more on this later ... I now have a definite love relationship with wine, but a definite hate relationship with boxed wine).
And there - it was as if Nirvana (not the band) had appeared before my very eyes ... FIVE GUYS had come to Spokane (or the 'Can or as it is fondly referred to as its airport code - GEG). There is a burger G*d after all .....
Out went the week of work with Pilates, "shuffling" through the mountains of Idaho and dancing last night to the usual songs of every wedding reception I've ever attended ... and in went the bacon, cheeseburger uber-duber. And to top it all off - CHERRY COKE on the soda fountain machine (it is almost as good as Root Beer).
The pending national holiday day celebration committee outside of FIVE GUYS
And finally "Grandma" (or rather Grandma's sunglasses) and the youngest grandbaby - Casey Mac ... enjoying their 1st FIVE GUYS experience. Smiles all around ... good times, good times.

No way......5 Guys there? Say it isn't so. That might have to be on my list of visits right next to Taco Time when I come home next. Bring it!
