For starters ... I love books. Adore. I love how they can teach you, transplant you and the mental images, memories and tastes that they bring - especially those books that will leave you thinking very hard.
The Help is one such book (my thumb not included). I was cruising through Wal-Mart here in Sandpoint (for whatever reason, whenever I type Wal-Mart it makes me chuckle... every experience is just so interesting). I remembered Mum asking me if I had read the book ...
Bought it and headed out onto the water ... could not put it down ... even when I returned to the house and literally flew through 475 pages of the book until I needed to get at least some sleep. 55 pages to go and then it will be a quiet farewell to a truly profound book.
If you haven't read it - pass go, spend the $11.20 (Wal-Mart special perhaps), or download on your IPad or, or ... if you hate it - send me a bill.

Hi hon, can't agree more. I listened to the audio book and it is Phenom! Brad is actually listening to it right now and loving it. I know you love reading, but if you get the chance to listen to it, it is one of the best audio books. There's like 6 women who read it and do all of the voices....it's like listening to a play, only you are visualizing the action. Happy happy reading my friend......you will love it page by page.
