Day 2 ... preempted noise complaint

Evidently there is such a thing ... but first to the recap of Day 2 - the next revolution

Given the fogginess of my brain - there will be short recaps of each photo.  Story-telling - well, there are some things you just cannot make up and I'm not sure if I've laughed this much in a single day.

Mike wakes up at 5AM ... welcome to a norte Ida.ho sunrise

800AM ... Mike and I head to the gym to get a good sweat in.  There are no photos of this.

950AM ... Pool time.  Meg and Mur are now awake and questioning how they slept so long.  And that no, they didn't feel the trains go by.

1030AM ... there are a whole lotta kids in this pool.  Neurotic mother applying sun block and whatever else on child ... Emily looks at Meg and mouths "W.O.W" as Meg is taking a sip of coffee.  Snorts out coffee into pool.  Dying laughter ensues.

1150AM ... anyone hungry?  And too many kids in the pool with snorkles, goggles and fins.  It is time to go out on the lake for the next round of sun - but first, it is food and a grocery run.

1215PM .. Food!  Welcome to Eichardt's pub ... Meg orders her first water - I mean Coors Light.  Smart arse bartender included in the package meal.  More hilarity.

And "take 2" ... "hot hollywood minute" troupe shows their faces

Oh look - there are bar taps - all over the ceiling.  This just "screams" photo opp!  Hose 'em down Mur.

Quote of the day (or maybe just for the lunch period as there were some real zingers throughout Day 2):  "Beer is proof that God loves us and Wants us to be Happy."  -- Benjamin Franklin.  Please note the fabulous Pez collection.

130PM .. pay bill .. learn smart arse bartender's name is not Nancy or Sally or Bob or Rob .. but it is Doug.  Okay then.  Also learned that Brandi Carlile went out and had some drinks after last year's show at the Music Festival.  Good to know.

145PM .. arrive Super 1 Foods.  Strategery session has taken place in GI Jane.  Each team member grabs a basket and it's "break" -- no photos as that would have been cutting into grocery shopping time.  It's time to get on the boat.

200PM .. groceries thrown in fridge.  Glasses of ice, selected beverage and mixers - check.  Off to the boat we go.

On the water - so time is now pointless as we will become one with Mother Earth and look to the sun for guidance (just what exactly did Meg put into my drink??)

Meg found the beer of the Mothership when we were at Super 1 ... oh wait - another photo opp.. let's do a PBR photo shoot.  Mur will be our first model followed by Mike.  Followed by Meg.  Em not included as I have less than positive feelings toward the Mothership.  Action!

Okay .. what else can we promote?  Oh wait - let's use some sunscreen and pretend it's deoderant.

Meg laughing adoringly at her hubby ... "that's my Mur"

Time to jump in the lake ... oh wait - photo opp on the swim deck

Why yes ... I do love grapefruit italian soda and a lil splash of something-something...

Then it was off to the marina to gas up .. oh look - Sweet Lou's ...let's grab a fresh one and some nosh... no photos of that as too busy eating ... best BLA (no tomato, with avocado) "samwich" and Idaho cut french fries.  Perf!

The ride in ... weird - more laughing.

One last shot of the ride in as we turn the boat towards Camp Bunga Bunga (it is one option of the name for the "new place")

Back at Camp Bunga Bunga ... it was more food, more drinks, more people, hot tubbing (Meg suddenly became the child whisperer as kids would follow her from hot tub to pool and back again ... to this point, I would only like to say "Dear Parent - perhaps if you are going to have children, you should spend time with them rather than use them as an accessory."  Stepping off soap box ....)

Um - yes .. so more water sports followed by drinks and conversation on the balcony ... (no music this time as we were actually being very "cautious" of our noise volume / conversation level - but it's really hard when everyone is laughing so much).

1031PM -- lights come on in my hallway - Mur to me "Em - I think someone just came in your house"  Me "nah ...."   Everyone turns and looks.  It's Safety Bob or Bill ... the security guy (and he wears a safety vest with reflective tape - you really cannot make this stuff up).  He tells me he rang the door bell but there was no answer.  Well no sh*t - we were on the balcony.  Then says that there hasn't been a noise complaint but he is just preempting a possible one.  Huh?  And why do you have access to my home?  Of course - this will be addressed today as kept my relative cool because Safety Bob pointed out that he would keep the fire going on the beach.

Fire?  Beach?  Sign me up.  It's unclear as to what time we went to bed ... but Mike and Mur have been up since 5AM .. I got up at 6AM (I think we've all said maybe 10 words to each other) and there are no signs of life from Meg.  She must be getting her beauty rest.

Welcome to a brand new day at Camp Bunga Bunga
