Hail hail the gang's all here

And so it begins ... one week in norte Ida.ho

On the drive from Spokane to Sandpoint - Meg found the Mothership

After crossing the Long Bridge, the gang arrived at the Seasons and it was an immedate jump into the drink of the week (perhaps - until Meg's folder for Shark Week arrives on Friday with Shark Week games and cocktails):  vodka and grapefruit italian soda ... which we later found out when we moved to the 2nd bottle of vodka - infused with cucumber - was even FRESHER.

Walked the grounds and then decided to take the boat out and boated out to the island

Something was very funny

Going for a refreshing dip at sunset ... ahhhhhhh - the powers of Lake Pend Orielle

A self potrait by Meg

Boated back with Captain Murray at the helm (good job Mur!) and it was back to the house.  Mike and I went up to Loading Dock and fetched some FABULOUS fire-roasted pizzas (Mike bought a Get Loaded souvenir t-shirt) and then it was back to the balcony to "dine al fresco" and listen to tunes.

1030pm brought security and a noise complaint (REALLY PEOPLE?!) - which actually was probably a good thing as it was a "maybe we should get some sleep for tomorrow...." moment.

And now it's a bit of sipping coffee with Mike with M&M still snoozing ....

Welcome to a brand new day ... day 2 of the next revolution!!

  1. This whole post just makes me smile. Way to start the time off right with a noise complaint. If they only knew. Have a great #2!

  2. Right?! What was even funnier is that Mike just happened to be inside and answered the door & simply told the guy "oh - i'll let them know.." for whatever reason (duh) - his saying it, seemed much funnier last night (than me sitting here on my 2nd water bottle of aqua fria & typing it).
